The Good & Bad of Everyday

I titled my book The Good & Bad of Everyday because I wanted to share some positive and negative things I encountered throughout my day. I wanted to shed light on sucky everyday things that I would come across and try to look on the bright side. The photos I took along with the text are meant to be lighthearted. I took some of these photos in San Marcos and some in Bakersfield throughout the span of a month. Some of the people featured in these photos are my sister, my mom, my grandma, and the most important feature, my cat Chai. I knew I wanted to include my cat in my book, but I was worried about how challenging it would be to photograph him. It ended up being actually quite easy to photograph him, the shutter sound would always get his attention and he would end up looking at the camera in the perfect moment.
